Food Marketing and Industrial Organization
Work in this area is to be led by Assistant Professors Joshua Berning, Rui Huang, Yizao Liu, and Professors Rigoberto Lopez and Ronald Cotterill. By building upon the Food Marketing Policy Center's strengths, the Center will continue its research in competition policies and regulatory issues, industrial concentration, and contemporary food marketing policy problems. New areas of for the Center include the economics and policy of food and health, particularly the obesity epidemic and new econometrics methods to advance policy analysis.
