About This Site

The Community Food Security website is designed to help disseminate and supplement research on Community Food Security in Connecticut. Beginning with the 2005 study, researchers at the University of Connecticut have evaluated and ranked food security across Connecticut towns. As part of the development of the 2012 report, the Zwick Center and Cooperative Extension have jointly developed this website to expand upon the information contained in the full written study. Here you will find the research methodology, a PDF version of the full report, additional maps, and further information on community food security in Connecticut.
